THE FAMILY OF MONT M. MUNGER AND LUCY STARK

of Avalon, Pennsylvania

Lucy Stark, daughter of Charles Stark and Wilhelmine Catherine Schwarz, was born November 2, 1886 in Allegheny City, Pennsylvania and died January 27, 1927 in Bellevue, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Mont M. Munger. Lucy and Mont are both buried in Uniondale Cemetery on the North Side of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mont had a car in the early 1920’s and he loved to entertain the family pretending to play a “player piano” at Dorothy Cooper’s apartment in Avalon.

The children of Mont and Lucy Stark Munger were:

  1. Wilma A. Munger born April 21, 1810 in Avalon, Pennsylvania, died April 1, 1983 married Rolland L. Schmucker. Wilma legally changed her name to Billie. She is buried in Allegheny County Memoral Park Cemetery, Allegheny County, McCandless Township, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Billie and Rollie had two sons; Ronald Schmucker, born September 2, 1932 and John Schmucker, born May 21, 1936.

  2. Mont Munger, Jr. born April 6, 1920 in Avalon, Pennsylvania
